> This painting was originally executed as a 7 day public performance on two large shop windows in a central London department store. Subsequently, the paint was peeled off the glass and transferred to canvas. Through this process the acrylic appears torn and crinkled and only just clings onto the canvas. The piece has a certain pathos, denoting an anxiety about the nature of paint and the historicity of painting.
