> The chairs stand in for people. From and installation in the Palazzo Abrizzio where I was invited to stay during the Venice Biennale. I got some of the other guests to help me carry all the various chairs into the ballroom so they could have their own silent party.

> This is one of the few photos which I would be willing to consider a finished piece. But I still think more of it as a study for a painting.
